Bunnahabhain Aonadh is a 2021 limited release Islay single malt at 56.2% ABV. The name comes from the Gaelic word for 'union', and the whisky is matured in sherry and port casks. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose brings vanilla, brandy butter, caramel and dark berries, with a warmth of oak spice. On the palate, vanilla and caramel sit alongside dark berries, and the sherry and port casks add a nuanced spiciness.
