This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 1968 and bottled for the Hogmanay celebrations of 2002. It is a limited edition of 2002 bottles, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in sherry casks, which gave it a dark colour.
The nose offers apricot, pear, dried figs and blackcurrant, with cinnamon, clove and a little oak. The palate brings ripe dark fruits, toffee, almond and light vanilla over a creamy texture. The long, warming finish carries dark chocolate and roasted coffee.
