Bunnahabhain – Cruach Mhòna (1L)

Cruach Mhòna is a peated expression from Bunnahabhain, in a 1 litre bottle. The name is Gaelic for a pile of peat, and it follows Toiteach, another smoky release from the distillery. Bunnahabhain is not usually peated, even though Islay is known for peat, so this is the exception. It was created as a travel retail exclusive and is the only peated Bunnahabhain Mòine made for that market. The colour is a pale gold. The flavour is clean and fairly refreshing, with a pleasing balance of coastal, meaty, rubbery and citrus notes.
