This is a 12-year-old Bunnahabhain Moine from Islay, a distillery bottling released to celebrate Feis Ile 2016. Moine is the peated style of Bunnahabhain, and the name translates as peat.
The whisky was matured first in Bourbon casks, then transferred to finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.6%, unchillfiltered and with natural colour, in a 70cl bottle. The release totals 833 bottles.
