Bunnahabhain – Stiùireadair (75cl, 46.3%)

Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair is an unpeated Islay single malt from the island's most northerly distillery, bottled at 46.3% in a 75cl bottle. Stiùireadair is Scots Gaelic for helmsman, the figure found on Bunnahabhain bottles. The whisky comes from first- and second-fill sherry casks and is non-chill-filtered, at natural colour. The nose brings dried fruit, creamy caramel, brine, vanilla and nuts with a touch of spice. On the palate come creamy dried fruit, sea salt, caramel, nuts and gentle spice, followed by a long, lingering finish of dried fruit.
