Bunnahabhain – Stiùireadair (70cl, 46.3%)

Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46.3% vol. in a 70cl bottle. The name is Gaelic, pronounced 'Stew-rahdur', and pays tribute to the helmsman who appears on every Bunnahabhain bottle. The master blender chose first-fill and second-fill sherry casks holding spirit of different ages and from different warehouse locations. The aim was to bring out the coastal character of Bunnahabhain without losing the sherry influence the distillery is known for. Tasting notes describe dried fruit and creamy caramel with a touch of brine, vanilla, nuts and a hint of spice.
