Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dha is a smoky single malt from Bunnahabhain, a distillery whose whisky is usually unpeated. Toiteach means 'smoked' in Scottish Gaelic, and A Dha means number two, as this is the second Toiteach edition.
It was matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, which add sweet fruit and spice. It is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle.
Peat leads on the nose. The palate brings sweet sherry and pepper, and the finish is long and very pleasant.
