Turas Math No.1 is a 15 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, bottled at 55.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in The Westering Home Collection 2025, and the name means "Safe Journey" in Gaelic.
The whisky is unpeated and was matured in a combination of casks. It is non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
The nose offers dried fruits, toasted oak, warm vanilla and a hint of sea breeze. On the palate there is spiced toffee, nutmeg, orange peel and honeyed malt. The finish is long and warming, with a gentle fade of oak and sea salt.
