Bunnahabhain XXV is a 25 year old Islay single malt, an original distillery bottling released in 2013 at 46.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring, and it matured mainly in sherry casks.
The nose offers dried fruit, dark toffee, roasted nuts and a hint of salty sea air. On the palate it is full-bodied, soft and balanced, with chocolate, oak spice and a fine sweetness. The finish is long.
