Burn O'Bennie – Inaugural Limited Release (70cl, 56.9%)

Burn O'Bennie's inaugural release is a single malt from a new distillery in Banchory on Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire. It is bottled at 56.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The whisky matured chiefly in seven first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks, and 2,020 individually numbered bottles were filled. The distillery's approach is to build flavour in the spirit, starting in the brewhouse, rather than draw it from the wood.
