Burnobennie – Inaugural Limited Release

Burnobennie Inaugural Limited Release is the first release from a distillery that puts brewing first. Instead of a plain, high-yield wash, it brews a beer wash from speciality malts more often used in craft brewing. It ferments for at least seven days, distils slowly and reduces the spirit to filling strength with water from the Pannanich Wells. The whisky matured chiefly in first-fill bourbon casks and is limited to 2,020 individually numbered bottles. It is bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration.
