Bushmills – 10 Year Old Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Bushmills 10 Year Old is an Irish single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1608 and is described as the oldest licensed distillery in the world. The whiskey is triple distilled, and the malt is dried in a closed kiln, so there is no smoke. It matures mostly in bourbon casks, with some time in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The colour is rich gold. The nose is fresh, fruity and floral with a little vanilla. The palate is very soft, with sweet malt, vanilla, fruit and honey. The finish is medium and mild.
