Bushmills – Private Reserve 12 Year Old Bordeaux Cask Finish (75cl, 47%)

Bushmills Private Reserve 12 Year Old is a single distilled Irish single malt from the Private Reserve Collection, a series of small batch single malts with distinctive cask finishes. It is a limited release, bottled at 47% in a 750ml bottle and non-chill-filtered. The whiskey is first matured in selected bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks, then finished in Bordeaux casks from Pomerol, France. The nose offers ripe plums, wild hedgerow berries and rich vanilla. The palate brings sweet plum, raspberry, black cherry, apple and ginger. The finish is long and dry, with gentle spices, lemon peel and ripe fruit.
