Bushmills 10 Years is an Irish single malt aged for ten years, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malted barley alone, distilled three times and matured in oak casks that previously held bourbon, which add gentle notes of honey and chocolate.
The Old Bushmills distillery holds a royal licence to distil, granted in County Antrim and dating from 1608.
The nose brings sweet fruit and spice, chocolate, Kentucky tobacco, pot-pourri, honey and barley sugar. The palate is velvety, fresh and clean, leading to a long finish of honey and spice.
