This is a 12 year old single malt Irish whiskey from Bushmills in County Antrim, a distillery described as the world's oldest licensed distillery. It is triple-distilled and comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The whiskey was aged for at least 12 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers dried fruit, honey, vanilla and a little spice. On the palate there is dark chocolate, red berries and toasted oak. The finish is long and smooth, with a delicate nuttiness.
