This is a 14 year old Irish single malt from Bushmills, triple distilled and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It matured first in first and second fill bourbon casks, then spent a year in Malaga wine casks. The finish gives the whisky a ruby colour. It is bottled with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The Malaga casks are associated with sweet, summery fruit, including ripe peach and apricot, with a note of honey alongside warm, spicy wood from the bourbon casks.
