Bushmills 16 Year Old is an Irish whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is first aged for 15 years, with bourbon and sherry casks kept separate, and the two are then married and finished in port wood for around a year.
The port wood is said to add red fruits, sweetness, and hints of candy and chocolate, giving a sweeter, fruitier edge.
