Bushmills – Black Bush

Bushmills Black Bush is an Irish whiskey with a high proportion of malt, about 80%, married with a lighter grain whiskey. It is matured in Oloroso sherry casks and Bourbon barrels, for up to 8 years in the case of the sherry-cask whiskey. The sherry and Bourbon wood give it a dark colour. It is described as rich and fruity, with a deep, intense character. On the palate the fruit is dark and velvety, carrying through to a long finish.
