Bushmills Black Bush is an Irish blend from Northern Ireland, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The recipe pairs a high proportion of malt whiskey with lighter grain whiskey. It is matured in former Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, which give the sherry character its prominent place.
The nose offers sherry sweetness, dried fruit and toasted nuts. The palate is soft and silky with a nutty character, and the finish carries lingering sweetness.
