Bushmills Causeway 1997 is a 25 year old Irish single malt from the Bushmills distillery in County Antrim. It was laid down on 14th February 1997 and spent all 25 years in first-fill American oak rum casks.
It was released in the 2022 Causeway Collection as a limited edition, bottled at cask strength and non chill-filtered.
The nose is tropical, with ripe mango, apricot and pineapple brightened by citrus zest. The palate offers honey, vanilla toffee, oak, warming spice and dried coconut, and the finish is long and gently spiced.
