Bushmills – Causeway Collection 1995 Malaga Cask (70cl, 53.5%)

This is a cask strength Irish single malt from The Old Bushmills Distillery, part of the Causeway Collection, bottled at 53.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered. The whiskey spent over ten years in oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, then a further fourteen years in Malaga casks, a triple wood maturation. Only 2,491 bottles were filled. It is described as having notes of sweet spiced plum, toasted vanilla and pinches of coffee grounds, in a golden spirit.
