Bushwood Stillwater Rye (75cl, 47.5%)

A single barrel straight rye whiskey from Bushwood, hand bottled in Kentucky at 95 proof in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered. The mash bill is low in rye, at roughly 51% rye, 45% corn and 4% malted barley. The bottle is finished with a golf ball stopper and a golf-inspired design. The nose is cherries, dark chocolate and caramel apple with spice-dusted oak. On the palate come honeyed dried fruit, butterscotch, nougat, black tea and gentle vanilla, leading to a warm finish of pepper, cinnamon bark, golden raisin and oak tannins.
