Buzzard's Roost Toasted Barrel Rye is a young rye whiskey, between three and three and a half years old. It is finished in proprietary barrels with custom toast profiles.
The nose is sweet and winey, with brooding notes of cloves, asphalt and a touch of sharp black pepper. The palate has a raw, granary youthfulness, lifted by brown butter, Christmas spice and brandied cherries.
