Brolettino is a white wine from Cà dei Frati, produced in the Lombardy region near Lake Garda. It is made exclusively from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes grown on clay soils. The wine shows a straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose offers white-fleshed fruit, especially apple and pear, with almond, floral notes and a touch of vanilla and sweet spice from oak ageing. On the palate it is balanced and full-bodied, with vibrant freshness and a long, pleasant finish. It suits fish dishes, seafood risotto, fresh cheeses and light starters.
