Cachaça Velho Barreiro Gold (70cl, 39%)

A Brazilian cachaça from the São Paulo region, distilled in copper stills and rested in wooden barrels, which give it a golden colour and a soft taste with wood and vanilla notes. Bottled at 39% vol, it can be enjoyed neat or used as the base for cocktails such as the Caipirinha. The nose opens with fresh sugar cane aromas followed by spicy, lightly toasted notes. On the palate it is balanced, with delicate sweetness, vanilla and toffee, and a clean finish with warm persistence and subtle subtropical botanicals.
