Cadenhead Burnside Blended Malt Whiskey 28 Year Old 1996 (75cl)

Burnside is a 28 year old blended malt bottled by Cadenhead. The name is not that of a distillery: Cadenhead owns the trademark. The malt was created by William Grant & Sons and is what is known as a 'teaspooned' malt. It comes in a 75cl bottle. The nose has old leather books, honeysuckle, milk chocolate and gorse bush. On the palate there are cassia bark, gooseberries, peardrops, rhubarb and papaya, and the finish brings liquorice, golden syrup and orange zest.
