This is a 5 year old single malt from Ardnamurchan distillery, bottled by Cadenhead in its Chairman's Stock range and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The character leans savoury, with a touch of peat running through it.
Tasting notes describe an earthy nose of tomato purée, oregano, mezcal and sugarcane. On the palate come pancetta, strawberry tart jelly, BBQ ribs and bothy fire, and the finish brings sea salt, paprika, marjoram and molasses.
