Cadenhead Chairman's Stock Ben Nevis 26 Year Old 1999 (70cl)

This is a 26 year old single malt from the Ben Nevis distillery, bottled by Cadenhead in its Chairman's Stock range, in a 70cl bottle. It is sweet and fruity, with banana bread, dried pineapple, honeycomb and crystallised ginger running through it. The nose brings strawberry lace sweets, banana bread, dried pineapple, kiwi, gooseberries and walnuts. On the palate there is honeycomb, dried apricots, white grapes and icing sugar. The finish carries lemon, crystallised ginger, pepper and herbal notes.
