This is a 15 year old single malt from the Miltonduff distillery in Speyside, 2009, bottled by Cadenhead in its Chairman's Stock range in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was re-racked in 2018 into a red wine barrel that had previously held Longrow. That long finishing period brought plenty of flavour, with notes of Ibérico ham, cranberry, brandy snaps and butter. The nose is of brandy snaps and Ibérico ham, with gorse, herbs and soot. The palate shows white grapefruit, tobacco, ash and cranberry. The finish brings horseradish, peppermint, butter, meaty notes and salt.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
