This is a 13 year old Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle as part of the Cadenhead Original Collection. The distillery stands at the foot of the mountain it is named after and was founded in 1825 by John McDonald.
The whisky was matured in a combination of bourbon and oloroso hogsheads.
The nose is biscotti, clootie dumpling, apricot marmalade and ginger. The palate brings walnut whip, golden syrup and cardamom buns, and the finish is hazelnut, cocoa and blackcurrants.
