This is an 11 year old Benrinnes single malt from Speyside, bottled by Cadenhead in its Original Collection, in a 70cl bottle. Benrinnes is mainly used as a component in blends, which makes independent bottlings of it less common.
The whisky has been matured in Palo Cortado hogsheads since 2023.
The nose offers maraschino cherries, sultanas, chocolate liqueur and olive leaves. The palate brings orange zest, blood orange, rosé vermouth and cherries. The finish runs to coffee cake, baking spices, cinnamon, blackcurrant and saffron.
