Cadenhead's Creations Light Fruity Smoky 20 Year Old Batch 1 Anniversary Bottling (70cl, 45.2%)

This is a 20 year old blended malt from Cadenhead's, Batch 1 of the Creations range, bottled as an anniversary release for Cadenhead's. The range is made up of blends selected to fit one of four flavour profiles. The whisky brings together malts from Springbank, Longrow, Tobermory, Glen Moray and Glengarioch, vatted in 2009. It is bottled at 45.2% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The nose offers apple crumble and lemon drizzle cake, with cigar box in the background. The palate is fresh, with Scottish strawberries, kiwi fruit and creme brulee. On the finish, light smoke builds alongside oak-smoked cheddar and toasted marshmallows.
