Cadenhead's Enigma is an 8 year old Orkney single malt bottled by Wm Cadenhead's at a cask strength of 57.5% ABV, with the distillery name deliberately left off the label.
The whisky was distilled in 2016 and matured for its full eight years in bourbon barrels before being bottled in August 2025.
On the nose it is usually described as tropical fruit salad, ripe banana, vanilla cream and shortcrust pastry, with a little salted air and soot. The palate brings banana bread, honeyed syrup, citrus oils and light pepper, and the finish is medium to long, ending on toasted oak and a saline note.
