Enigma is a 16 year old Speyside single malt from Cadenhead's, bottled at 53.6% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in Manzanilla sherry casks, distilled in 2008 and bottled on 25 January 2024, with 1,284 bottles filled.
The nose brings vineyards, warehouses, cedar, spring honey and tobacco, with a hint of citrus. The palate opens spicy and oily, with ginger, rancio, chilli flakes, mint and damp wood, followed by plums and white grapes. The finish is medium in length, with dried green herbs and oak.
