This is a 26-year-old Linkwood single malt from Cadenhead's Small Batch series. It was distilled in 1987 and matured in refill sherry butts.
In March 2014, 972 bottles were filled at a cask strength of 56.8% ABV. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is creamy, with plenty of vanilla, freshly baked bread and banana chips. The palate brings toffee popcorn with a hint of salt and pineapple, and the finish is dry and spicy with aniseed, berries and a little nuttiness.
