This is a 12 year old Tullibardine single malt, the first release in the Cadenhead's Spectrum Series, titled The Sherry Universe. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle as a limited edition, without added colour and not chill-filtered. It brings together whisky from Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, Fino, Amontillado and Manzanilla sherry casks.
The sherry styles range from the fine maritime notes of Manzanilla to the rich depth of Pedro Ximénez. The vatting also includes refill PX casks that previously held Springbank. After maturation in the Cadenhead's warehouse, the proportions of the five sherry types were set in its Blending Laboratory.
