Caffo Anisette di Calabria (75cl)

This is a sweet Italian anise liqueur from Caffo, a family distillery that began with Giuseppe Caffo distilling pomace on the slopes of Mount Etna and later settled in Santa Venerina, Sicily. The anisette is obtained by distilling anise seed in an old copper pot still, which gives the liqueur its distinctive, easily recognised flavour. Caffo also makes amaro, limoncino, amaretto, sambuca and aged grappa.
