Calisco Spirit of California is a clear grape brandy inspired by South American pisco and made from California wine grapes. The component distillates rest in stainless steel for at least two years before they are blended and bottled in Ukiah at 38%.
The nose is floral, with jasmine, honeysuckle, mandarin, green apple and pear. On the palate come melon, cucumber, lemon verbena and a light brine.
The finish brings floral and citrus notes with cinnamon, white pepper and a touch of chocolate. It suits sipping or mixing.
