Calumet Farm 15 Year Old Single Rack Black is a Kentucky straight bourbon, aged for 15 years and bottled at 52.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley.
Each batch is drawn from 19 barrels, all matured in a single centre-cut rack of the rickhouse, so every barrel ages under the same conditions. It is bottled non-chill filtered.
Oak and char lead the nose, opening into dark fruit and sweet corn. The palate brings aged oak, baking spice, toffee and toasted grain, and the long finish ends on sweet tobacco and rye spice.
