Calumet Farm 5 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is the first rye release from Calumet Farm and marks a century of heritage.
The mash bill is high in rye, made up of 91% rye and 9% malted barley, and the whiskey is five years old.
It is typically described as opening with warm caramel and baking spice, then moving to dark fruit and pepper, before a long, smooth finish with a slightly fiery rye kick.
