Calumet Farm 8 Year Old is a Kentucky bourbon, distilled and aged in the state for eight years and bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley.
Each batch is made from fewer than fifty selected barrels and bottled by Three Springs Bottling Company in Bowling Green.
The nose has aged oak and a deep vanilla undertone. Vanilla and fruit open the palate, followed by soft white pepper and a fuller woody character. The finish is balanced and sweet, with a fading caramel note.
