Calumet Farm Single Rack Black 15 Year Old is a Kentucky bourbon, distilled and aged in Bardstown from a mash bill of 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley. It is bottled at 52.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle, after fifteen years in barrel.
Each batch is made up of nineteen barrels taken from a single centre-cut rack, and the bourbon is non-chill filtered.
The nose opens with oak and wood char, then dark fruit and sweet corn. The palate brings oak, aged spice, toasted grain and toffee with a smoky sweetness, and the finish is slightly dry, with sweet tobacco and rye.
