Calumet Farm Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 43% (86 proof) in a 750ml bottle. This batch blends barrels of 17 year old and 7 year old bourbon, and the youngest whisky in it is 7 years old.
The idea comes from the horse-breeding side of the farm, where a foal stays with an older mare to learn from her. In the same way, hand-selected barrels of the 17 year old bourbon guide the flavour of the batch.
The mash bill is 74% corn, 17% rye and 8% malted barley.
