Calumet Single Rack Black is a 12 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 51% ABV (102 proof) in a 75cl-sized 750ml bottle.
It comes from small batches of just 19 barrels, and each bottle belongs to an individually numbered edition. The mash bill is 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley.
The nose brings vanilla, aged oak, caramel, toasted wood and a touch of spice. On the palate come caramel, baking spice, smoky oak, toasted grain and a gentle rye warmth, leading to a long finish of lingering oak.
