This is a single grain Scotch whisky from Cameronbridge, a Lowland distillery, distilled in 2012 and bottled by Signatory Vintage as Edition #1. It is bottled at 57.1%, the strength historically known as 100 proof, without added colour or chill-filtration. The spirit started in a single hogshead before moving into first-fill and second-fill oloroso sherry butts. The nose offers dark caramel, dried fruits and hints of roasted nuts. On the palate there is rich toffee, spiced oak and chocolate-covered raisins over a vanilla sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sherry spice and toasted almonds.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
