First fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead
This is a single grain Scotch whisky from Cameronbridge, distilled on 5 December 2007 and matured for 18 years in a first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead. It is a single cask bottling from Best Dram at a cask strength of 54.1% ABV. The sweetness of the PX cask meets a light grain base, and the grain character stays quietly in the background. The nose combines dark sherry sweetness with creamy milk chocolate, nougat and ripe pear, with a hint of freshly baked layered cake. On the palate, chocolate comes first, followed by sherry sweetness, nougat, pear and a touch of plum jam. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit and chocolate fading slowly.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
