This is a 27 year old single grain whisky from Cameronbridge, bottled by independent bottler James Eadie from a single cask, No. 358026. It was distilled on Christmas Eve 1998. After its main maturation it spent a further 66 months in a refill Marsala hogshead made from European oak. The bottling is limited to 314 bottles, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose offers honeyed grain and vanilla cream with soft, fruity wine notes. The palate is smooth, with toffee and sultanas and a gentle warming spice. The finish is long and supple, carrying dried fruit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
