This is a 27-year-old Cameronbridge single grain, distilled on 24 December 1998 and bottled by James Eadie in 2026 at 52.7%, in a 70cl bottle. After its main maturation, the whisky spent a further 66 months in a refill Marsala hogshead of European oak. 314 bottles were filled, without chill-filtration or added colouring. The nose combines honeyed grain and vanilla cream with dried apricot and soft winey notes. The palate is silky and round, with toffee, sultanas and golden syrup alongside gentle warming spice. The finish is long, leaving sweetness, light oak and dried fruit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
