Campari is a bittersweet spiced liqueur from Milan, first launched by Gaspare Campari more than 150 years ago. It is bottled at 25% abv.
In Italy it is often served as an aperitivo, alongside olives, small pizzas or other snacks. It is also a classic ingredient in cocktails such as the Negroni.
The flavour leans towards bitter orange, with spice and a touch of burnt sugar.
