A blended malt made with whisky from all three of Campbeltown's working distilleries: Springbank, Glengyle (Kilkerran) and Glen Scotia. It is produced by J&A Mitchell & Co and bottled at Springbank Distillery at 46%, without chill filtration, from ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The nose is buttery with sea salt, ginger loaf and pecan pie, alongside peach, apricot and lemon meringue. The palate brings creamy coffee, salted caramel and date syrup with a little peat smoke and some seaweed saltiness. The finish builds in peat smoke, with leather, ginger, nutmeg and oatcakes.
